Starting work

This section is intended for engineers who configure TMS.13 series detectors using an engineer’s workstation as part of the SmartRoad software package.

The engineer's workstation enables to set detector configuration through the graphical interface (GUI) of SmartRoad system.

System Requirements

These are the requirements to ensure the proper operation of engineer's workstation (ARM):

  • Processor: Intel Core i5 5200U or AMD Ryzen 3200U (2 cores, HT (or SMT) technology support and base clock speed 2.2GHz) or higher.
  • RAM: 8 GB.
  • Operating system: Windows 10 x 64 version 2004 (aka 20H1) or Windows 11 x 64 version 21H2.
  • Recommended browser: Google Chrome (Operation in other browsers is possible, but not guaranteed).

ARM Allocation

The ARM can be set by following a simple steps.

Startup

Once getting the engineer's workstation software installed, you can click on a Start ARM_v2 shortcut that will appear on the desktop or run the script start.cmd.

Afterward, the software package will automatically launch and the web interface of the engineer’s workstation will open through the SmartRoad UI

If the ARM main page does not start automatically in your browser, you can open it by 127.0.0.1.

Login

Here, you just should enter the assigned user and password. Then and click on the authorization button login to get into the system.

Login

After logging in, an interactive map may be displayed indicating the location previously added to the DT project. The transition to the main page of the ARM system will be completed within a few seconds.

Main page

Then, on the main page of the engineer's workstation, a graphical interface for configuring the detector will be shown.

Completion

You should click on Stop ARM_v2 shortcut on the desktop to complete the work with the ARM system, after that you can close the main page on the browser.
