Interactive map
In this section are described some features related to the interactive map.
The interactive map is designed to display the installed equipment, events, recorded with its help and levels of service in the projects to the user. The user can change the map scale by scrolling the mouse wheel and by pressing the “+” and “-” buttons on the keyboard or in the interface.
Layers on the interactive map
On the interactive map the user can switch on/off different layers, on which, depending on the selected layer, equipment (detectors), events or levels of service are displayed. In the web interface the layer menu is located on the interactive map right below the top menu (from left to right - equipment layer, event layer, level of service layer). Switching between the layers is carried out by clicking the icon of the selected layer. The icon of the current layer will change its color to the white on the layer selection panel.

Detectors are displayed on the map in the form of round icons: ///ВСТАВИТЬ ФОТО.
When the map scale is reduced, detectors located closely to each other are grouped together. The group is displayed on the map in the form of a donut chart with the total amount of detectors inside the circle. The statuses of the grouped detectors are shown as the borders of the pie chart. When hovering on the group of detectors there will appear a drop-down list with the names of the detectors of the selected group and their statuses in the form of corresponding icons.
On hovering the cursor and clicking on the one of the grouped detectors there will appear a pop-up window, on hovering on the item of which there will appear brief information about the selected detector. On clicking on the detector name in the pop-up window the user will switch to the detector settings page.

On getting close to the detector on the interactive map to view information about the detector you should hover the mouse cursor on the detector marker. In this case, you will see detector detailed information, including the main parameters of road traffic in both directions.

On hovering on the traffic detector there will appear a pop-up window with detector information, on which there are also shown traffic levels of service. Arrow color on the interactive map and stripe color on the information window match the traffic level of service by speed criteria (speed coefficient) for a selected direction. On the interactive map level of service is defined in both driving directions by different traffic flow parameters (traffic intensity in reduced units/hour, average speed in km/h, traffic density in reduced units/km). There are shown current and maximum values of these three parameters.
